Friendship that forms you into the image of Christ | Ep. 13

Show Notes:

We are created in the image of a God that exists in Community. On today’s episode, Kris Gamble is joined by one of his closest “brothers in Christ,” Taylor Huse, as they discuss: What is Christian brotherhood Biblically and what is it practically? What are some of the obstacles we face that can prevent this type of relating? All while sharing stories that span from being roommates and co-leaders of a ministry while in college to what their friendship looks like today.

Taylor Huse’s Bio:

Taylor, a former CPA and former attorney for the IRS, helps commercial and nonprofit entities with their tax needs.

He started his career working as a CPA at Ernst & Young for three years before enrolling at the University of Virginia School of Law. After law school, he worked in the Office of Chief Counsel for the IRS in Washington, DC for three years.

Taylor’s experience with nonprofits has given him an understanding of their unique goals and needs and fueled his passion to provide these organizations with quality legal advice and services. He spent part of his childhood as a missionary kid, including living in South Africa shortly after the end of apartheid, and in college he interned at the global headquarters of a multinational mission organization. In 2020, he co-founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness and continues to serve on its board. Taylor also found time in law school to give back, serving as president of the Law Christian Fellowship.

Although he isn’t originally from Colorado, the area is a natural fit for his love of hiking and skiing.

Having just moved to Colorado, Taylor will work on federal tax issues until he is admitted to the Colorado Bar.
