Dear Rachael and family, Larry was my Lab leader as we called it then at the MABC in 1992/93. His grace, willingness to ask forgiveness for standing us up- you brought in the coffee, Rachael, if you remember, tender care after my dad died, sharing his heart, mind, spirit, home, Lord's supper and time amongst other things profoundly changed my life and beyond me, many missionaries I ministered to and walked with have benefitted.
Larry had planned to come and minister to us missionaries in Zimbabwe, but was hindered by the outbreak of his disease. I am glad he lasted many more years after that, though it was hard for all of you to see him suffer. His suffering is over, but you have to live with his death. May the Lord of all comfort comfort you, Rachael, and you his family, so you can be comforted and pass on the comfort to others. Rachael, you will stay vividly in my mind as does Larry, yours Gisela
