The first time I heard Larry teach he asked those present to consider what we desired most in our lives. He gave us a few minutes to think it over, and I scribbled in my notebook – "that my husband would be saved." And then he dropped a bomb – suggesting that my deepest longing was to be known by someone who loved me without condition, who was on my team, who accepted me just as I was. Rocked to the core, soaked in tears, feeling the pain of my unmet desire..he had spoke truth to my heart and soul. I sat under his teaching many times in the following years, and read all he wrote. I am so grateful that he forced me below the water line, bringing me closer to Christ and everyone else. Praise the Lord for Larry's ministry to me and thousands of others.
